Project Results
During the course of the EWCS project, we developed a number of results that can be used by National Anti-Doping Organisations and other sport organisations, outside our consortium, who want to implement the European Week of Clean Sport Campaign. These results pertain to the design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of the EWCS Campaign and are presented as follows.
Learning, Teaching, & Training Event (LTTE) with Key Sport Stakeholders
This event took place in May 2023 in Poland, and incorporated the views of key sport stakeholders (e.g., World Anti-Doping Agency, UK Anti-Doping) with regards to best practices and lessons learned from related initiatives they have implemented, as well as considerations about Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion and Environmental Sustainability. You can access the report here.
Training Needs Assessment Report
This report includes the results from focus group interviews conducted in each country that implemented the EWCS Campaign in our consortium: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Poland, and Portugal. The interviews took place between September and December 2023 and included local sporting communities and relevant stakeholders. These interviews were crucial for co-producing the EWCS Campaign’s content and features in each country, so that the Campaign would address local needs. You can access the report here.
Operational Framework of the EWCS Campaign
The Operational Framework is a report that provided guidance to the four NADOs that participated in our project about designing, implementing, and evaluating the EWCS campaign. This report summarises how evidence from multiple sources was collated to inform key features of the EWCS Campaign, such as target groups, mode of delivery, and Campaign activities and related considerations. You can access the report here.
Evaluation Report of the EWCS Campaign
The Evaluation Report presents a detailed analysis of how the implementation of the EWCS Campaign was evaluated by Campaign participants and target groups, the NADOs that implemented the Campaign, as well as local sport stakeholders that actively supported the implementation of the Campaign. The report will be available in due course.
Policy & Practice Recommendations
The Policy and Practice Recommendations report summarises the key insights obtained by the implementation and evaluation of the EWCS Campaign in four countries (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Poland, and Portugal), and offers specific guidance and recommendations to external organisations (e.g., NADOs and other sport organisations) who want to implement the Campaign in their countries. You can access the report here.
